Getting to “Yes”: Online Sponsorship Training Giveaway

online sponsorship training with Kim Skildum-ReidUPDATE: Thanks to everyone who applied for one of the four complementary registrations for my online #sponsorship training, Getting to “Yes”. I actually got so many applications – and they were so good – that I picked SIX of them!

The winners are from Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, Finland, New Zealand, Tanzania, and the US. There are two from sports, two charities, a professional association, and a local government. If they share their experience on social, I’ll be resharing, so follow me on on Twitter or LinkedIn for updates.

Down here in beautiful Sydney, spring is springing. The city would normally be buzzing, but we’re currently three months into what will probably be 4.5 months of lockdown. Zoom is great and all, but the lack of travel and games and gigs is driving me spare! So, I’m going to create a bit of excitement with a giveaway.

My new online sponsorship training course for rightsholders, Getting to “Yes”, has been going great guns, with fantastic reviews. In the next week, I’m going to give away four complementary registrations for Getting to “Yes”, valued at US $495 each.

About Getting to “Yes”

Getting to “Yes” is jam-packed with content, featuring a mix of…

  • Best practice theory, and the trends and technology driving sponsorship results
  • Lots of case studies and examples, picked specifically to illustrate different angles and ideas, which you can use for your own organisations
  • Practical skills and how-to
  • Advice, angles, and reality checks
  • Comprehensive, whiteboard-style brainstorm exercises, showing you exactly how each brainstorm works, and providing you with ideas that you can borrow and adapt for your own organisations

It includes…

  • Over 7 hours of on demand video training, spread over six chapters and a total of 16 videos
  • Downloadable PDFs of every presentation, in PPT style
  • Downloadable resources and recommended homework
  • Discussion enabled on all lessons, allowing you to comment or ask questions of your fellow students and me. I monitor these discussions and answer questions
  • Course completion certificate
  • Access to three, invitation-only, live Ask-Me-Anything sessions with me
  • 30 days’ full access, so you can work through the course at your own pace

Click through to the Power Sponsorship training portal for all of the details, including the full course outline and reviews.

Who can apply and what am I looking for?

This offer is for rightsholders only. Your organisation can be big or small, for-profit or non-profit, you can have one property or many, and you can be located anywhere in the world. (Please note, training is currently offered in English only.)

I’m going to try to balance the locations and types of organisations. The biggest factor in who gets these complementary registrations, however, will be enthusiasm and commitment to making the most of the resources.

Interested in applying?

If you’d like to be considered for one of the four complementary registrations, you can email me, DM me on Twitter or LinkedIn, or drop a video application in the comments. Please keep it short, and include the following:

  • A little about yourself and your organisation
  • Approximately how many sponsors you currently have (for a bit of context on your situation)
  • Your biggest sponsorship challenge(s)
  • Why I should choose you for one of the complementary registrations – Eg, How you would make the most of it? Will your organisation give you the time to do some professional development? Do you have a network that would be interested in following how you go?

Applications close at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, 22 September 2021, Sydney-time. I’ll let the successful applicants know the next day.

Good luck!
